I'd look to Ubuntu/Linux forums to see if anyone has tried one of these. The Best Buy site claims this display is compatible with PCs and Macs. There must be a driver that's "close" if it works with Macs, but that doesn't guarantee anything regarding Linux. Maybe there's more on the AOC site but I'm off to an appointment and don't have time to look. Without a proper driver it's just a lighter ship anchor. Good luck.
