I've solved my kins-compile problem. I just had to uninstall emc2 and
install emc2-sim, also if i've compiled my emc2-dev as simulator.

Now I have another problem. I'm far from my machine pc, so i've copied
my setup and try to run that as sim, to work on my Gladevcp panel. I
i've installed emc2 with the 10.04 iso inside a VirtualBox machine, then
installed from git JA3 branch as simulator. Then i modified my .hal file
commenting everything referred to parport.
it works.
in my setup i use a joystick, and i load that using hidconfig/hidcomp.
if i run hidconfig it can see the joystick, so i think permissions are
right. but when i run my machine i have this error:
..2012/01/06
16:56:49.243,2011,1,hiddevice.cpp:172,Error,hidcomp,HIDDevice,Error
reading HID report descriptor 0. len != nReportLen (-7!=150)
and it stops.
anyone san suggest me what does it mean?
Thanks, Davide.
