I now regret mentioning money. I just wanted to say that it was not a matter of coincidence or luck that our online presence is ad- and bs-free. I don't want donations and/or a treasury personally, and among the board I've never heard any sentiment otherwise. If I pay for hosting/service myself and give some of the benefits to the community, it's a bit costly but simple. If I want reimbursement from the community somehow, I would have to trade that cost for a different cost in terms of complexity and time. That's a tradeoff in the wrong direction for me. I appreciate that so many want to help, and money is a seemingly-simple way to do that, but I think it would add complexity that we just don't want. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Keep Your Developer Skills Current with LearnDevNow!
