Better yet, in HAL you can compute vector velocity of the X & Y axes,
and then multiply by the S word.  This way, the extruder will accelerate
and decelerate with the movement of stage.  You might need some additional
trickery to manage the pull-back of the extruder when S is set to zero
(extruder off).
