I saw but didn't respond in a timely fashion to your first message about the future of the lists so I'm adding my thoughts here. 1) I don't feel strongly one way or the other about the impacts on me of the different choices. Different interfaces, new accounts, etc., are fine with me. 2) Having some experience posting bugs, related mostly to documentation, I like that we might move to better bug trackers. 3) Whatever the board decides, I hope it includes careful consideration that, going forward, our intellectual property, e.g., the webpages, bug lists, email archives, and whatever else, should be easy (or easier) to migrate in future. I'm keying off your earlier comments that some information may be lost in a rename process at SourceForge and that it may not be possible to migrate data from sf.net trackers to our own. If nothing else, I hope it's possible in the new system easily to create external files containing all the content. Finally, perhaps you've already addressed this, but will it be possible to leave "forwarding addresses" on the old sites, at least for a time, so that people directed to us by mostly old links from external sites will be able to find us?
