That reactor is specific to the drive system. There is also some other part of it that I could not recognize. There is a selection guide in the manual for the reactor and they state that it is used to protect the drive from spikes and surges and to keep harmonics out of the power system. Plus part of it is used to further step the voltage up to 480 for a coolant pump. The drive operates at 400 volts.
