I see 2 objections, first being that it i/o facilities are ALL now extra 
cost options.  Looks like it will be near the $200 mark by the time enough 
memory and I/O are added.

Second, with no linux driver for the gfx chip, it gets shot down in flames 
for our uses.

Third, of what use to us is the 3 year life cycle if it takes 2 years to 
work up a stable, uses the chipset to its full capabilities, linux driver?

That gunshot wound in Intel's foot looks pretty serious, needs looked at 
asap.
