As long as we're talking about the main site, http://www.linuxcnc.org, how about updating the News box in the upper left and also the NewsFlash http://linuxcnc.org/index.php/english/news? There are other parts of the website that say "LinuxCNC2.5" but I can't tell if that is meant to mean all releases in the 2.5.x series or not.
