hi folks, i have been testing emc2 for motion control from a time now, and came to some questions about motion blending in my setup, that i like to contribute to solve (and dont have enough knowledge! for that im asking)
The setup is a fairly simple aplication for a filament winding machine, similar to a lathe, but with naming convention as this: x linear carriage parallel to mandrel rotation about mandrel axis is A transversal axis is Y. I think this is trivial, and use trivkins. Running some files(copy a portion below) with y axis fixed at some position, Axis Gui plot something similar to a thread back and forth, the plot is ok (change repeat to 1 to see 1 cycle) i have use inverse time feed rate (to some fixed filament speed), machine is metric, A is angular in degrees with 2000°/sec speed and 5000°/sec´2 accel. X have 400mm/sec and 3000mm/sec´2. EMC2 version is 2.4.6 The problem is with motion blending, A axis comes to a dead stop between segments, and i dont know how to make a movement similar to CV . The machine is shaking hardly due to high accel and deceleration between segments in A axis. I have try to write small segments like A1.8, interpolation and blending are fine but speed goes down (i think is the interpreter speed is limiting this). Any clues?
