I want to control a Rostock 3D printer with LinuxCNC, and am working
on the appropriate machine configuration.  The Rostock is tripod-like
(three axis), but uses linear slides and fixed-length struts instead
of the fixed points and variable-length struts the tripodkins module
seems to be configured for.

Before I wander off and code up a modified version of the tripodkins
code, is there some 'stock' way of controlling this sort of machine
that I haven't stumbled across yet?  The kinematics docs seem a bit
skimpy, so I have mostly been looking at the code and may be missing
something obvious...
