Chris & all,
Just to close the loop...  It works perfect.  It took me a while to
figure out what you meant by typing a custom name in the combo box -
but I now see its just that.  Type a name in the smart serial's pin
'box' that normally says 'unused input' and PNCConf will tie the mesa
input to that signal,  Cool!  Thats so simple and obvious after the
fact;)
