That depends on how its done folks. I for one do NOT want to see a repeat
of what happened to me, and likely almost anyone who bought a copy of
Corel's WordPerfect 8 for linux, on sale at the time (this was about Red
Hat 5.1 days 12 to 14 years ago). I got screwed (without any KY) for $90
at the time because it would only install on Corel's version of linux that
was at least a year behind Red Hat, and which Corel apparently wanted $395
a seat for way back when.

Of course it didn't say a word about that on the box, and once I broken the
cellophane it was not returnable. After that Hell will be down to about
2.8 Kelvin before Corel would have gotten another penny from me. That
whole boxed kit, with a docs book 3+" thick is still sitting high on a
shelf above me, to serve as a reminder, don't ever think its a good deal
just because its marked down $20.

Somehow, I have a similar bad feeling about this. Time will tell that tale
of course, but its not going to be out of my pocket to find out. M$ &
Oracle taught each other about market lockin. I don't own a pole long
enough to touch either product.

Cheers, Gene
