A concrete table will be a whole lot more stable
than your MDF machine, but your MDF machine
will still shake and vibrate because its structure is
relatively flimsy. There have been entire machines
built of concrete so you might just look into rebuilding your mill.

Subject: [Emc-users] concrete table

how stable is concrete
i have my small mill in a spare bedroom in a wooden enclosure
this is a old house that shifts and moves
nothing ever stays level
my mill is mdf so quite light
if i set the acceleration to fast it dances around
so my question is if i build a table and a concrete top will it remain flat and
stable
that would be a cheap way to gain rigidity and mass
