Hi I've been in the background for several years and 1 year ago I bought the MESA's servo bits to run a Lathe. I've used the 2.4 version to run a simple 3 axis table we built using the parallel port but 2.5 has a lot more.
I'm looking for a page where I can do the initial commissioning. Ie Press a limit switch and see if it comes up. Turn the servo and see if the data is updated. All of this needs to happen without setting the home switches, eStops etc. It is a 7 hp lathe with 2 hp servos so it is not as though I can quickly wire it up to test. I need to test each part on the bench before I install it.
