I will just point out again that I am no longer trying to use this. There a a number of reasons, not all related to functionality, such as me losing the source code for the UART comp I decided to use instead of using quadrature counting. Then I found that my excitation signal had gone wrong (possibly one of the caps around the filter) and I decided to stop fiddling with it and use the Mesa board.
