Charlie, Never heard of Zorin but I love their logo with the words - Beyond Limitations. It is Ubuntu - Try it (on a test box) with the linuxcnc install procedure - it may just work. I don't know what changes Zorin made but there is a chance it will work. Hopefully Zorin is beyond the limitation of running LinuxCNC with a realtime kernel. I would say simulation would have a better chance of working. Have fun Stuart
