Hey guys,
Have not been on listforge for awhile been busy working on this
retrofit. Managed to get all three axes bench tested so far. I had a
question, is it possible for the control computer to be powered up and
instead of going to the Linux Ubuntu desktop instead load LinudCNC in
FILLSCREEN immediately. I just think it would be more professional and
allow me to get right to powering up the drives and hitting system on
.....is this even possible and ifso HOW?
Managed to get my mesa card to turn on and off my vfd for my coolant pump
this morning. Also set the frequency and accell and decell times in the
vfd. Works awesome now. Big shout out to the tech support for this Hitachi
drive from Driveswarehouse. Those guys are great and very helpful. Peace
