Hello! I am looking for a simple and cheap touch probe so that I can fix it near spindle and find material surface in all 3 directions - X, Y and Z.
I think that probing repeatability of 0,01 mm will be sufficient for my needs, which does not seem like very high precision for touch probes. I would appreciate any hints, where should I look for something suitable or maybe there is some source of information that describes, how to make one. The size and beauty of the probe itself does not really matter, keeping the budget as low as possible is higher priority. Thanks in advance! -- Viesturs If you can't fix it, you don't own it. http://www.ifixit.com/Manifesto ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Precog is a next-generation analytics platform capable of advanced analytics on semi-structured data.
