The motor I'm trying to repair is a ring motor. I've swapped controller boards and the problem stays with this motor. There isn't much there but a flex cable and the ring. I don't have a capacitance meter, so I'll have to lash one together. This should allow me to see if the cable is bonded to the crystal, or if the crystal is cracked. I won't be able to tell if the crystal to ring bond is good though. Replacing the crystal is still an open issue. -- Kirk Wallace http://www.wallacecompany.com/machine_shop/ http://www.wallacecompany.com/E45/ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ This SF.net email is sponsored by Windows: Build for Windows Store. http://p.sf.net/sfu/windows-dev2dev _______________________________________________ Emc-users mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/emc-users
