You must be a youngster with an I'm gonna live forever outlook. :)  At 78, 
I know better and that my remaining time is limited.

The EMC name however is a name well known in broadcast circles, been around 
since the late 50's that I know of, building the first translators we could 
use to fill in coverage holes.  They existed well before the NIST even 
thought of the parent project.
