Yes, the US healthcare system has become incredibly "corrupt", in 
collusion with the Government policies.
Something had to be done to change the system...  Time will tell if this 
is a move forward or not.   I do know that for a few people I know, this
will improve their current situation (which has been really bad..-  
working poor )  Both work 50+ hours per week and they scrape by and have 
huge insurance payments to keep their chronically sick kid well (a 
pre-existing condition).

Time will tell.
