All, TX/RX Labs ( http://txrxlabs.org/ ) in Houston eagerly volunteers to host! Just pick a date.
We're a non-profit hackerspace/makerspace with a ~23,000 sq/ft (and growing) facility in Houston's East End. Among our LinuxCNC machines are 2 routers (3x4 and 2x2), a Bridgeport Series 1 CNC, an import Bridgeport clone, a Smithy bench-top mill, an Emco CNC mini-Lathe, an Emco CNC mini-mill, and a PCB mill. We are also currently converting a Burgmaster Powerhawk (FANUC Drives) and have a Okuma LC30, Motoman arm, and a linear delta 3D printer slated for conversion. About half of the facility is air-conditioned and includes a conference room with projector/screen, a classroom with 18 workstations, electronics bays, wireless internet, and a full kitchen. We also teach classes on using LCNC at least twice a year. If y'all didn't know, Houston has more restaurants per capita than anywhere in the world (so good food is no problem), and the Labs are in the center of Houston, so they're all close.
