Tx/Rx here,

We are definitely still go for the Fest. Since the last announcement, we've
added a 5x10 plasma table (running the JA3 branch), finished converting our
Chinese 4x8 router to LCNC, made progress on the Burgmaster Powerhawk
retrofit (one axis is moving), acquired an 88 ton 8' CNC press brake and
4x4 water-jet with dead controls (for LCNC conversion), and I put a
water-cooled spindle on my little 2x2 router (next step is controlling the
VFD over RS485).

We have also been considering running a class/workshop on basic LCNC CNC
machine building and configuration. We already run a class on basic LCNC
usage (Gcode, touching off, opening programs, MDI, etc.), but have received
requests to have a class on how to set up and configure LCNC. We plan to
design and produce a super simple kit for the students to build (CNC cut
plywood, drawer slides, NEMA 23 steppers, TB6560 3-axis board) that they
keep at the end of the class.

Yeah, we're pretty stoked about October.
