Greetings all; I have the encoder on my 7x12 working pretty well. About the only thing ATM is that the last slotted disk I made has very slightly narrow slots, so I am forced to hit the led's in the HOA2001-001 slot interrupters fairly hard to actually get a true 50% duty cycle square wave out of them. The slot width tweak is just an edit to the gcode that carves it, but you knew that already. ;-)
So, my question is: Are there any other 7x owners who might be interested in a kit of stuff to fit their 7x machines? If there's a market for less than 2 or 3 I won't be surprised, but thats not enough to farm out the board, and it takes me way too long to machine etch them with my slow spindle. I enjoy the challenge, but it can turn to boredom too. Anybody interested? Cheers, Gene Heskett -- "There are four boxes to be used in defense of liberty: soap, ballot, jury, and ammo.
