I had a different pin in mind with my reply Jeff, but the NEAR module
output would need inverted according to this from man 9 motion:
motion.feed-hold IN BIT
When Feed Stop Control is enabled with M53 P1, and this bit
is TRUE, the feed rate is set to 0.
Apparently it must first be enabled with the M53 P1, which I would put in
the nc files pre-amble as part of the default setup.
No clue how badly that might mark up the work should it occur though.
Obviously depending on the rigidity of the machine.
