Hello Gene,Here is what I have in my HAL files for my machines, all three of my turning centers have 2 speed transmissions on the spindles.
Just holler if its gets fuzzy, there is a lot going in my file, Thanks Rick ------ Original Message ------ From: "Gene Heskett" <[email protected]> To: [email protected] Sent: 9/17/2014 11:29:21 PM Subject: [Emc-users] Question on "gearchange" use?
Hi all; As I have a 2 speed backgear head on this toy of mine, I'd like to make use of this module to actually double up the low speed power. But I've no clue where to insert it. I do not want the tach to beeffected, just a higher motor speed to make up for the higher gear ratio, for more delivered torque at the chuck. So, those of you using it, how are you using it?, snippets of hal files most welcome. Cheers, Gene Heskett -- "There are four boxes to be used in defense of liberty: soap, ballot, jury, and ammo.
