I think that might be for applications where the drive homes itself.
(The drives are really rather clever, possibly too clever).

Seems to consider the inputs 12 and 13 to be "feed enable" so driving
both of them false should stop the drive.
You can probably wire them both to the same 7i37 output (the 7i37TA
outputs behave a bit like switches)
