See if setting [EMCIO] RANDOM_TOOLCHANGER = 1 in the INI helps. It keeps the tool in spindle correct during a toolchange, but tends to have other effects, such as shuffling pocket numbers. If you perform your toolchange on Tool number, and ignore the pocket numbers, then this might not matter to you. The whole tool-table and pocket-number thing is a mess.
