The 170 J 6 belt I ordered from vbeltsupply 8 days ago finally showed up, as did 2 more 130 XL timing belts and a bag of weak springs to serve as a dissengage spring in the spindle lock for the GO704 that I ordered yesterday morning from MSCDirect.
Then I make an 8mm sleeve to splice the backgear shift lever from the old head to the new one, giving me a lever tall enough I can see what gear this toy is in. I have long since given up counting how many times I have put it in neutral to check something, and restarted the program or the spindle still in neutral. With no feedback, the motor hits about 10 grand in about 1 second flat.
