I have those (one of each kind) and they are useful. Be aware, though, that the diameter of the nut is larger than the AF measurement across the body, which is a right nuisance because it means they have to overhand something (like a vice or a holder) or they have to sit up on a spacer. Otherwise, they do speed up some operations. AF thickness of the body is the same for the square as for the hex across flats. I bought the ER25 versions, because the ER35s are way to big for what I need. In fact, smaller ones would be a good idea for many applications, but are not available. I know a man who made some big ones for himself, but the level of frustration in trying to ensure the collets were actually centred between flats was very high (and they were not hardened or ground etc), so I think the price for the ready-made items is worth it.
