As a registered apprentice machinist, after work around computers left me,

I have found this digest an excellent place to find random tech I do not

FRS Radio is Family Radio Service.

The second and third hits Google replied with were:

Interesting bit of kit there if I had time to add the peizo and a good
solid case. I not 95% are usb powered though.  Need something that will
run on a big coin cell I think.  But things are busy here today the
doorbell just rung the first time, and I have to have her to the
surgeons offices at 1P to remove the rest of the staples.

I am a wood worker in a large wood working CNC shop. But I need to mill some 
aluminum for a project (a jig for another process in our company) but I know 
next to nothing about milling such material. What I need is to cut a large grid 
out of a 5ft x 10ft sheet of 1/4inch thick MIC6 AL. The machines I will have to 
do this are large wood working cncs with flat vacuum tables. We normally cut 
flat sheet material like MDF or plywood on a MDF fall-board (vacuum sucking 
right through the fall-board (holes, no jig tape, just porous MDF) These 
machines have no provisions for coolant Just compressed air blast and dust/chip 
collection (big centralized dust collector system). I will obviously have to 
disable the dust collection, because I'm pretty sure the local farmers who pick 
up our dust won't appreciate AL shavings in their cow bedding. The machine I am 
probably going to use has a 12kw 24krpm spindle. I would like to mill this with 
a 1/4" 2 flute carbide end mill. Should I use an up or down s
 piral cutter? What feed speed and RPM would be appropriate? What depth of cut 
per pass? Do I need to arrange some sort of mist system for cooling? What to 
use and how much liquid in the mist? (Don't want to cause problems with the MDF 
fall-board or vacuum hold down system.) The grid is only going to be about 2 
inches wide, with 12 windows in the 5x10 frame (a lot of wasted material). At 
this point the plan is to set the milling up with lots of bridges to hold the 
grid to the scrap then go back and trim those off with a final finish pass.

Yes, it has silk screened names. Its a totally isolated thing on the VFD
side. The vfd  should have a common, a nominally 12 volt plus source when
measured to the common.

The fwd and rev signals are separated by the spinx1, and generally on the
VFD side respond to a closure to this common to enable it to respond to
the voltage from the "arm" of the potentiometer.  On the computer side,
you will need to dedicate on pin of the BoB as an enable signal and wire
it up in the hal file.

You will need, if using the mesa cards, something that faintly resembles
this to get the LCNC speed signal hooked to the spinx1:

The data being referred in the right hand argument to needs assigned

And the reason I keep calling it PDM is that is a ditherless
method of getting quite smooth speed signals from a basically
digital circuit.  That is done as the modules are enabled in
the .ini file by a line grouping like this:

A lower frequency is higher resolution but it should be fast enough

Thats not all of that stuff, but you'll get the idea.

A gpio pin is an input unless told otherwise, and all signals
are closures to ground, with 5 volts fed to the + terminals on
the axis motor drivers, with your step/dirs connected to the - terminal
on the drivers control plug.
