I was already fairly familiar with that as I carry a 1st phone from back in the day when a 1st phone meant something, first issued in '62. Now grandfathered into a PG-########## class, which vaguely resembles a bowl of popcorn for availability (and warranty of knowledge). I am also a C.E.T., which is a hugely more telling warranty of the carriers knowledge. But even that, since I'm not using it everyday since I retired, tends to fade away, dammit. My problem is locating a suitable high quality unit, I need eddy-cating from someone with 20 years newer experience. I have a ham friend into 2 meters, he may have better access to that sort of gossip. > > Here, north of the border is slightly different, (as usual), Of course, otherwise the fences may as well come down. :L) > but, will it meet the approval of Barry Trower? He is someone in your D.O.C. I assume. Thanks James. Cheers, Gene Heskett -- "There are four boxes to be used in defense of liberty: soap, ballot, jury, and ammo.
