Of course it does. I was counting rawcounts based on the motor encoders 1000 count PER MOTORS REV, over a span of 100 turns of the spindle, getting about 7161.1 rawcounts PER TURN OF THE SPINDLE. Double that +- a slight fudge, for the slower spindle gear, or 14300.16. But theres certainly room for a 7 something or 14 something gear ratio. > So, a 1000:1 error there.
