Hello to all. I'm trying to figure out how to design the simplest possible wire feeder like the one on this video: https://youtu.be/_pjbwFM1LM4?t=28s
As you can see the wire comes to a stop (a simple bolt with a nut) so I suppose the feeding mechanism has some sort of slipping capability once the wire has reached the stop. Is there any common and simple mechanism for this purpose? I've never really worked with machines like this so I'm curious about what the simplest solution could be. I can imagine several ways to do it but I don't want to re invent the wheel. Thanks as always!
