TBT, I bought a couple of them for a couple of small steppers I have lying about - thought they might be useful for a toolchanger or indexer, but need a round TUIT before starting. Been clearing outdoor combustibles instead, after digging 40+ meters of uphill ditch for a new water pipe. Winter's not as dry here as up north in New South Wales, but there's no hay or straw to be bought on the entire Aussie east coast, and they're trucking it in from the west coast on road trains (three semitrailers behind each prime mover). That's a 7,000 km return trip. A 30,000 ton shipload of wheat has just arrived from the same source, but they need one a week now to keep the remaining animals alive. It's a bit stiff for winter, and no-one's looking forward to summer. We've seen reports of raging fires in USA and Europe, which is becoming tragically common in summer now, but when we have 33 waterbombers, 870 firefighters, and 270 firetrucks on two fires here in the depths of winter, then it's nigh on not entirely amenable any more.
