Remember that I have a 3.8 meters in lenght Have a look at the Bell Everman "Servobelt" concept. I believe it uses standard metric "T5" belting. Going back to your homing question: The limit switches shouldn't need to be _that_ accurate. as long as both servos end up within 180 degrees of the correct encoder index. Final absolute squaring is then tweaked in the INI file. I would suggest setting the system up with the beam loose and free to move first, just enough to hold the uprights upright. -- atp "A motorcycle is a bicycle with a pandemonium attachment and is designed for the especial use of mechanical geniuses, daredevils and lunatics." — George Fitch, Atlanta Constitution Newspaper, 1916 _______________________________________________ Emc-users mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/emc-users
