Hello Dears,

7i77 has tow separate vin one for logic power and the other one for supply
field power to outputs.and also it can be supplied with one power source
logic power and it will use it to supply field outputs, and you can decide
what you prefer to use and set w1 jumber.

Regarding to manual.

VIN POWER SOURCE
The isolated field I/O on the 7I77 runs from a switching power supply that
can be powered by field power or a separate supply (VIN) with ground common
with field power.
Normally the 7I77's VIN will be powered with field power. An on card
jumper, W1 allows VIN to be connected to field power.
If you wish to use a single power supply for the 7I77s field outputs and
field logic power, W1 should be placed in the left hand position. This
connects field power to VIN. If you wish to use a separate supply for VIN,
W1 Should be placed in the right hand position.)

I used 7i77 6 times before for 6 different machines and running it with
single power supply for logic and output fileds by applying power on pin 5
and common on pin8 and set W1 in left hand position.

Good luck.
