If sseriel is dead, it takes a full powerdown to make it restart, 2 different cards have now done it to me. Other than that, both cards are working great, and I'll use them again.
Thats part of my asking what should I look at with a scope with an eye toward helping to ID the problem. But no replies on that yet. Thanks Andy.
