Y have the same 25 watt in the GO704's box but the draw ATM there is minimal as I've not installed any coolant stuff as yet. Needs it, but hasn't grown it yet. One of the reasons I bought 4 of those peristaltic pumps I have running on the 6040 now.
Works passably well on the 6040 with the nozzle size of a $10 nozzle cut back some. With a .03 secs on, .100 secs off but trimable from the gui stuff I've added. Which when its running is also powered, 300 ma or so during the one pulses, from this same 12 volt supply Keeps the tool wet & cool w/o really drowning the work area. But come warmer weather again, I'll do much the same on the GO704 and quite likely the Sheldon too. That puppy can throw red hot swarf several feet when running at full song. Biggest problem is me, I'm running on about 25% of a normal heart, which they are going to finally fix this next Tuesday by replacing a very leaky aortic valve. Almost as a cath-lab outpatient but they will keep me overnight as they want the anesthetic to wear off before turning me loose to drive myself home. Then I should be half as good once as I once was as far as endurance goes. Right now? Spit... Maybe an hour of up moving around, then sitting here or taking a nap for 2. Getting old ain't all AARP cracks it up to be. Thanks John D. Cheers, Gene Heskett -- "There are four boxes to be used in defense of liberty: soap, ballot, jury, and ammo.
