Gene, Once I get through this project, about a dozen parts to g-code and then machine (the CAD work is done), I will consider upgrading. But as you probably know very well from your own experience, I am invested in this EMC2 version which is at the end of a string of software applications- CAD, CAM, Motion-Profiler and then Controller- that I do not want to rock the boat, at least not now.
I am working through the dd process: trying everything out on a non-critical computer first. Let you know how it goes. Thanks to this very helpful group!
