Something along those lines has crossed my mind, whats left of it, Dave, 
but that would involve a change in tool mount as one like that, or the 
qctp was interchanged. I want this to drop onto the qctp for a 
consistent offset I can measure and put in the tool table, so they must 
be in the 250-204 pattern for mounting repeatabiity.

because thats the size of the teflon I have to make the probe contact 
insulator from.  Or I've some black delrin about 1.25" OD I could 
machine one from that I just now recall having. I've not measured it but 
I'd assume its an insulator enough to serve as a probe holder.
