The old lathe retrofit project is coming together. This is the machine that I ended up using Yaskawa Sigma 5 servos with 8i20 drives. It is an old old Miyano gang lathe.
Here is a picture of a tool holder that came with it. I can't figure out what it is and I was wondering if anyone knows what it is, and if they have any suggestions about tool holders that I should use for making parts. Table top to center of spindle is 55 mm.
