It would need to be comprehended and worked-in as appropriate. > I assume the part about the A axis would be removed. It is handy to be able to jog A even whilst it is slaved, to align the work to the hob. > The files in the archive hobbing.zip would go where? Mainly in your config folder. > Are there any updates lately? Yes. I don't do it quite like that any more. I wrote a custom HAL component that handles the slaving and the jogging. It also (as of last weekend) handles multi-start hobs. Oh, and I changed the feed to feed-per-rev of the _blank_ and also changed the "air feeds" to straight feeds as otherwise they were painfully slow with high-count gears. If you want I can send you the whole config folder zipped up, but it obviously won't be plug-and-play unless you too are using 8i20 and 7i49. -- atp "A motorcycle is a bicycle with a pandemonium attachment and is designed for the especial use of mechanical geniuses, daredevils and lunatics." — George Fitch, Atlanta Constitution Newspaper, 1912 _______________________________________________ Emc-users mailing list Emc-users@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/emc-users
