It is handy to be able to jog A even whilst it is slaved, to align the
work to the hob.

Mainly in your config folder.

Yes. I don't do it quite like that any more. I wrote a custom HAL
component that handles the slaving and the jogging. It also (as of
last weekend) handles multi-start hobs.
Oh, and I changed the feed to feed-per-rev of the _blank_ and also
changed the "air feeds" to straight feeds as otherwise they were
painfully slow with high-count gears.

If you want I can send you the whole config folder zipped up, but it
obviously won't be plug-and-play unless you too are using 8i20 and
7i49.
