Greetings all;

TLM needs the boot.ko module for Jon's pwm-servo driver thats running the
spindle.

That I have, but the error message says its looking for the boot.so file.
And it mentions rtapi_something I didn't write down, in
the /usr/lib/linuxcnc/modules/ path.

I have boot.comp, the slightly modified src file, but how do I make a
boot.so from that?

That machine WAS running the wheezy RTAI kernel, but now is running:
4.19.0-10-rt-amd64 #1 SMP PREEMPT RT Debian 4.19.132-1

I have ssh working now, and here is the error msg:
hm2_5i25.0: initialized AnyIO board at 0000:05:00.0
boot: dlopen: /usr/lib/linuxcnc/modules/boot.so: cannot open shared
object file: No such file or directory
./my_LinuxCNC_machine2.hal:20: waitpid failed /usr/bin/rtapi_app boot
./my_LinuxCNC_machine2.hal:20: /usr/bin/rtapi_app exited without becoming
ready
./my_LinuxCNC_machine2.hal:20: insmod for boot failed, returned -1
Shutting down and cleaning up LinuxCNC...

How do I proceed?

Thank you.

Cheers, Gene Heskett
