I had, but discounted it because its all plastic and UV is hard on the 
plastic. Humidity with the lid buckled down is 100%. I may, since I've 
the time, try a few drops of vinegar to diddle the ph toward acid, or a 
small dribble of drain leaner lye or a few drops of dri-gas alcohol.

I have the snot I skimmed off in the trash can yet so I can experiment to 
see what attacks it.  If I find something that works, I'll post it.
