That's a major pain, John. I put all my 3/8" and under taps in brass 
hats, with 4 grub screws grabbing the drive square, brass is 7/8" in 
diameter with a m4 cap screw to stop the spinning permanently at the 
bottom of the brasses side, engages a notch cut to fit the 4mm cap 
screws head in the bottom lip of a 7/8" r8 collet.  End of slippage.
