Guess you have to implement it as a state machine?
Came to the conclusion there is two methods to implement programs. Sequential there program may stop and wait for something or state machine. Sequential require some kind of operating system support for multi tasking while state machines remember program position by itself in some variable so it may be implemented in a function called periodically exiting each time.
