I've been looking at that today, but it does not use the send function. I'd like to get a simple loopback test going. I have a comp that sets up the pins and functions, but I don't see any data arrive in the rx bytes when I set data in tge tx bytes and set tx-count. I guess it's been a decade since you wrote that driver.
