It has become evident that the online LinuxCNC docs in some cases (but not all) are displaying en-dashes in place of hyphens in HAL pin names.
ie, what should be a 2D is an E2 88 92 For example: http://linuxcnc.org/docs/2.8/html/man/man1/halui.1.html has: halui.tool.length−offset.a float out But should be: halui.tool.length-offset.a float out If I (and others) generate the HTML locally we get the correct output. Has anyone any idea what might be going on? It is more than just an æsthetic problem, it means that copy-pasted hal snippets don't work. -- atp "A motorcycle is a bicycle with a pandemonium attachment and is designed for the especial use of mechanical geniuses, daredevils and lunatics." — George Fitch, Atlanta Constitution Newspaper, 1912 _______________________________________________ Emc-users mailing list Emc-users@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/emc-users
