Good point. The OpenBuilds motion controller is another $200. That pendant Rafael linked could probably be easily interfaced to Linuxcnc instead of the OpenBuilds motion controller if one wanted.
The OpenBuilds motion controller is in a nice little box with pluggable screw terminals on the side. I would like to see a Linuxcnc motion controller package that is more like a typical PLC package, with pluggable 24v compatible I/O and everything boxed up and powered.
